Why am i broke.
All of these are solid bikes, but waiting for a crowd-sourced consensus means theyre usually gone. I personally like the Ironman, then the Fuji, then the Nishiki. You have a good eye, and any of...
That is insanely good looking. Im in love with how sharp the lug work is.
Giant made bikes for Schwinn, so that was my second guess based on the seat.
My Raleigh has:
Japanese Cranks, Derailleurs, Handlebars and stem
Japanese tires and Seat Binder bolt.
USA bar tape and...
IRD Stem Quill Shifter Mount
IRD makes a clamp for that.
Ive put Cyclone GT cages on non GT bodies. If theyre VX-GT, it might not work. I know my VXS-GT cage wouldnt fit a lone suntour body.
I didn't realize cannondale invented the threaded 1" fork.
That looks like a schwinn dropout, but im not sure. How many manufacturers had a horizontal drop with the center not milled out?
The chrome has held up quite well. There are a couple of rust spots, but nothing major.
Theyre quite nice, and the Panasonic bikes tend to be nicer than the Greenville ones.
Im 99.8% sure its Panasonic sourced.
I have a pat 83 nr if you need one.

Giordana bike frame. In solid shape. I think the size is about a 52. It was...
If only I had the cash ATM.
I spent way too much time working in a parts store. Cars bring in more money than bikes do. You also have to find someone who WANTS to look for a weird/esoteric car part through various catalogs. If...
The reason people won't try, honestly comes down to an hourly rate.
If someone walked in knowing nothing about bikes, and needed a new swiss bb or replacement parts for a 1st gen freehub...would...
My Ironman Master is one hell of a frame and fork, that's for sure. It's in the running for nicest high volume production bike ever.
I used the ones off of a set of Weinmann sidepulls.
They're both 4130. The paint is fairly fragile. But mine has held up ok for 41 years.
That windsor on CL would clean up nicely. If I didnt have my 10 bikes I'd pick it up, and add it to the Chrome lug collection.
After some research, I found that le tours and super le tours made in Greenville have a S for the first letter, so mine was a US made bike. Not that that's relevant to the OP of course. This is...
I would redo the one you have. It'll be brand new when finished.
