Isn't lint a religious holiday period? Siri, spellcheck?
Phishing emails are very common and the best response is to disregard any curiosity about links in the message - don't click on links or attachments - and to delete the message.
I like bacon but a pound of it with six eggs sounds about as appetizing as eating 65 Nathan's hot dogs. (That's the record for their annual contest.) I like hot dogs, too. :)
Biked to Work today. 24 miles total. Planning to do it again tomorrow. Humidity much less this evening than it has been recently and it's supposed to get into the 50's tonite.
About 2000 miles this calendar year. Minimal January/February miles.
800 miles on the tandem.
A gentle ten mile ride near home today. Yesterday, though, Indiana Department of Homeland Security issued a Heat Alert for Central Indiana and families were urged to stay indoors or in the shade....
Nice ride to and from work yesterday - 21 miles.
Today - drove home in the worst/wettest rain storm I can remember in a long time. Glad I wasn't on a bike.
Just got some Ripcord housing and will be trying it out with the disc brakes on the rear of a long wheelbase recumbent and a longer wheelbase tandem recumbent. Will report back if the difference is...
closing in on ten pages..........................
It looks as if the other side of the hub is threaded for screwing on a freewheel.
(Pics of upside-down bike are disorienting me.)
Attach single speed freewheel and flip the wheel/hub. If the cog...
More pictures of the entire bike, please. I had a made-in-Japan 1976 Le Tour. Can't remember what the head tube badge looked like. Probably didn't say Chicago.
Never heard anyone use that word in Indiana. Not that I could understand, anyway - can't ever make out what motorists are yelling. I just pretend they said 'have a nice day'.
ha ha ha
My experience with several RANS recumbents is that my arms/wrists/hands support no weight and that there is no pressure on them. There is some hanging on to the bars involved - quite unlike a road...
I don't draft much and when I do, it's at the back of not-so-fast groups. On my long wheelbase bike, the front wheel is so far in front of me, I can only estimate how far away I am and with the short...
As far as mounting, there is no magic tire. Some tires are difficult to remove or mount with some rims.
Might be more of an issue with skinnier tires?
None of my tires (forte, primo and schwalbe)...
Crank forward bikes like the Townie or the RANS CF bikes are very upright bikes with more pressure on the arms/hands than a recumbent but less than with typical safety/upright bikes.
Rode to and from the Indy Crit Kick-Off ride this morning. The medium route plus riding to and from the start and finish in downtown Indy totaled 48 miles.
Great fun taking a lap on the race course...
12 tandem miles after work this evening.
OP last posted a year ago - must have survived his issue.:thumb:
They seems to be selling a lot of their wheels these days to folks who are mostly interested in the look.
On the other hand, they have had a reputation as heavy-duty but heavy wheels.
Talked to a...
Noisy bugger!
Never heard of that but here's a Univega from on Ebay that may be what you have:...
