What's your favorite way to clean a chain?

From time to time I read different approaches to cleaning chains. What's your strategy?

My 1946 Hobbs of Barbican Superbe has set me back a surprising bit of time and spare change - especially considering I have yet to locate a period correct crankset. I kind of love it though, and it...

If you feel that you must retouch, head down to Walgreens or CVS and do a little color matching to the fingernail polish selections. This works surprisingly well and stands up to the elements also....
