Lack of 1km fliers in world tour racing

Maybe this should be in the professional forum, but I think it is an interesting discussion for amateur racing too.

Why don't we see more 1km or even 1 mile fliers on flattish stages of world tour...

You can also get good results in a few large cat5 races and then email your region's upgrade person and request an early upgrade. Worked for me going 5 to 4 and going 4 to 3.

Sram Force 10spd rear derailleur. Specs say it will take a 28 tooth cog.

What I'm confused about is if I use big-big +1 on the 28 tooth cog, won't the chain be too loose for the 11-23t cluster?

Changing Cassette Size Without Chaning Chain

I'm about to put a new chain on my road bike. I have 50/34 chainrings and an 11-23 cassette. I like the 11-23 for racing but I'm planning to do some very steep climbing (sustained grades over 20%)...

More seatpost setback or longer stem?

If I need up to two centimeters more length to my bike, is it better to keep the stem and get a seatpost with more setback or to keep the seatpost and get a longer stem? I don't want to change the...

I know I need an ISIS drive BB, but can it be any old ISIS with the right spindle length, or do I need a Nashbar BB to be compatible with the Nashbar crank?

Differences in training between cat 5 ,4 and 3
