Open to selling just the frame for $200.
This still has to be my favorite bike on C&V.
Be advised that Veloflex say to NOT use tire levers when mounting their tires. I'm sure much of that is for their protection against ham handed installers and a careful person will have no issues,...
I definitely like the look of high flange hubs better.
A scammer. He has to sell the story to get top dollar for the bike.
By presenting it as "fact", people will be much more likely to believe it. By adding the little "secret facts" like the...
Another of my hobbies is collecting antique firearms. There are many people that are experts at taking a rusty, old pos and turning it into a pristine, historical gem. There is a saying... buy the...
That was my thinking, but then again I'm a huge cynic/sceptic.:)
The final bid was $3850 and it didn't meet the reserve.
Looking at the work on the lugs and the Campy dropouts, I would guess this is a very high quality frame. Could you get a photo of the underside of the bottom bracket? This could possibly have a...
By the seller... not Bob Roll. Look at the photo of the bike WITH Bob Roll in the sellers ad. The bike has a silver seat post. The seller also says Avocet saddles "with yellow lettering are...
Good excuse to get your hands dirty.

Oh, well that proves it, not just anyone can buy red cable housing!:D
For the price he's apparently asking, he should try just a little harder to get in contact with Roll or Merckx.
They were an option along with stem shifters.
... and then buy mine!:)
It has been repainted and braze-ons added. The components are post '78 Campy SR and not original to the bike and would probably bring $600 +/- on eBay. To me, it is worth more than the asking price...
Where are you located? Some members here may be able to help evaluate the bike.
It was made in May 1973 and is a Paramount P-15.
The Sekai will be lighter and faster than most (all?) hybrids you will find for $400 and will ride more like your Trek 2.1 due to the drop bars, narrower tires and sportier geometry. The Sekai 4000...
The standover height is 32.5" and I would think pretty close in size to a 56mm Trek 2.1; the Sekai is 57cm center to top or about 56cm center to center. I would be willing to meet at Castle Rock, WA...
Or the chain rings have been replaced.
