    Since a "wheel" is built up of a few components, rarely would hub, spokes and rim go out at the same time so often it means, just replace one component and the wheel rolls on.

    90 miles a day for repeated days on crushed limestone is a long haul for most. I just got back from a 3 day mini tour on the stuff and I know I lose at least 1.5 mph vs decent pavement.
