Sunny and 75:)
Glad to hear you're back on 2 wheels! I got the old Holdsworth out for 21 windy miles this morning.
Never been a fan of really loud music, even back in the day, when I played rhythm guitar in a rock band. I like to hear the subtleties of the music. I guess I'm kind of an odd duck.
Beautiful bike, my size. So tempting, but good luck with the sale. Someone, (maybe teisco), will have a nice bike!
Great pictures everyone! The weather turned just about perfect this morning, I got out for about 31 miles in perfect conditions. In the spirit of the season:...
I've done Wachusset (fairly easy) and Greylock (very difficult). I'm going to subscribe here and keep an eye on this one. Sounds good. This is the top of Greylock, 2 years ago when I was just a kid...
Could you please post a picture? I'm also in CT., and I might have something for you.
Single track on the tandem sounds like fun Jim! Sitting here having coffee waiting for the temp. to go up a few degrees (it's 48) before I head out. Hopefully some pictures to follow later on. Cheers!
That's a great build!
I've had great luck with the magic eraser. Cleaned up the decals on my 71 Super Sport nicely. This was a few years back and I don't have pictures of before.
Calendar is marked, look forward to this ride twice a year!
Very nice! I assume you are going to put the components from your 24" frame onto that 22?
Here's picture from today of my 1985 Miyata 615.
Welcome Jason. Try this link, people post up vintage bikes from CL and Ebay all the time. There are a lot of good deals in the Boston area posted on this thread all the time. ...
Great weather this morning here in CT. I got out pretty early on my Miyata touring bike. Very pleasant ride, even if the only picture I took came out a bit blurry....
I really have come to love Shimano 9 speed indexed bar end shifters. I hope I don't get kicked off the island for this.
Quick shot of my 1982 Trek 710 from today.
Great pick up!
Hi all, I took my Trek 710 out for a 35 mile ride this morning. Great conditions, a little foggy most of the morning, but temps in the low 70's. I stopped and got 1 picture at an old dam in Griswold,...
Must be a hoot riding in those "shoes".
Yes JJ, Hell Hollow. Good eye! I used to kind of avoid that road, full of potholes and very narrow. It has been re-paved and is in excellent condition. I'm going to ride it more often now, it's only...
