I'd probably buy at $800 if the fit was pretty good. Still feels a touch high for a used 'knock-off' brand, but it's not a real common size to find used.

Well, sure. But that looks more like a 70's touring bike as compared to say an 80's racer (which Centurion also made).
If it works (as claimed) it's a decent deal. Looks very heavy.

Not sure you can count on getting $600 for a used bike with Sora; but this deals seems worth the $250-350 difference to me (if you can swing it). What wheels are on the 105 CAAD9?
That's a deal around $850-$900. Otherwise just order from BikesDirect yourself. Those are not 6700/5700 parts - but the older 10-speed stuff. Those Mavics are an older model as well (but nicer than...
I've made about 1,200-1,500 annually the past few years.
Good reminder to use more smiley faces when I'm joking.
Taller headtube on the Endura = less aggressive; more comfort focused and upright
Is that a drink?
Deez Nuts?
Ritchey's seem to run the full 44cm C-to-C at the hoods. The Logic II is ergo, but I'm not sure if a 142mm drop is considered shallow? Reach is 82mm.
How did your co-worker/buddy do? Did he start at Hwy 101 and reach Pacific City?
The prices have gone up now that they are so hard to find:

Yes, very hard to find; but:
5510 and r600 work just as well,
there is no way I'd sell just because of nameplates as most other 9-speed parts are easy to come by,
and I've got one 6510...
WAY better. That'll sell pretty quickly.
Ritchey WCS? Probably a few too many decals...
That Specialized looks like a pretty solid deal for under $400.
So the SuperSix is $200 cheaper? I'd go that route.
I'm guessing folks will say that's too much. Hard to say with knowing more about the condition and a sense of your local market. Would likely sell near that price in Portland, especially if the...
A Colnago with Campy? Meh, probably okay for a cottage bike. ;)
That price seems about right...maybe a touch high if it only took a few minutes. Sounds like you received good service. Might have been $10 or free if they knew you.
If you are willing to travel a little ways, I'll make one more suggestion: the Historic Highway from the trailhead east of Hood River through the Mosier Twin Tunnels. It's really a treat and a...
Banks to Vernonia trail.
Also: park under Sellwood Bridge and ride north to circle the downtown waterfront. (I'd plan this one for mid-week)
There is a path along 26 that goes to the Zoo.

I have some Campy pedals; don't know if those would be of interest? Make an offer:
