1/2 right, IMO. Moving the saddle back effectively decreases the seat tube angle and moves weight off the hands. Longer stem won't help.
Useless? You have no interest in quickly removing and replacing a chain without tools?
Dangerous? You break quicklinks regularly?
Fine, if you don't like them, don't use them. But saying that...
Wippermann. Works as well as the others but installation and removal is tool-free.
Are there any current road levers will work with the disc brakes?
Edit: :twitchy:

I think you're pretty right with this - just one minor point:
If the seat tube angles are different, this won't be correct, so it's best to measure up from the BB vertically. If you put a spirit...
I don't understand the point of your posts. Did you just want to make sure (twice!) that we all knew you have him on ignore?
Please tell us how to align the rear valve stem and the crank at the same time on a fixed gear bike. ;)

No. It might be used as a starting point (or an endpoint by fitters who don't know what they're doing). Here's one viewpoint:

You should NOT be adjusting reach by moving your saddle! When getting fitted to the bike, you should first position the saddle relative to the bottom bracket / pedals and THEN set up the bars by...
The Quattros are no longer made, so you only find them on closeout or occasionally on ebay now. I like them because I can use any of my 4 pairs of bike shoes with any of my 3 bikes (MTB with...

The GPS DOES hit the battery life, but 2 hour rides are no problem at all - plenty of charge left after that. I have "battery saver" (under the Settings menu) switched on most of the time and...
Just a quick addition:
I was told today that Endomondo works too, so I tested that on my commute home. Similar usability to Sports Tracker but perhaps a few added features. As with Sports Tracker,...
As a cyclist, Strava matters to me  but there isn't an app for Windows Phone 7  and my bike computer doesn't have a GPS.
After searching for help on this and finding nothing useful, I...
This article explains some ways wheels can be tested for stiffness:

I keep an eye on that thread to see what's new.

Agreed - I'm shorter and "more of a sprinter build" (OK, 5'7", 165 pounds) and wear mediums in Castelli.
I have the shorter Teko ones and I like them as much as the more expensive IceBreaker ones. They're a lot thicker/warmer than DeFeet.
Also they're no-name bars, as far as I can tell (cheap Chinese carbon?). Who is willing to put a value on on these?
How many other riders from that team are doing TDF and Vuelta?
What's the wine?
