Sand is one of my least favorite things to ride in. When I have to though I click it into a real easy gear and just spin as fast as you can. Let the bike do its thing in the sand. I don't lean back...

One thing I did notice when I was watching the race was how much louder the carbon bikes are.

Real good race. I love watching them and getting all worked up. Fun to have the last racer win it. Good to the end!
