Excellent, thank you! I'm looking at the Jones bars now. Exactly what I need after trying to love some dirt drops for way too long. Vermont looks to be really superb terrain for a fatbike. Thanks for...
What a fantastic trip! I have to know more about those handlebars you're sporting. Looks like about the best of both worlds, and nice and wide.
Hi sedges - I'd be interested to learn more about this ride for next year. What's the terrain really like? Seems hilly up in that part of the state... I'm not too far down the road if there are ever...
Thanks! They're 700x43 'cross tires. I'm digging the traction, but with 70psi I'm not sold on the roughness. Fast on pavement, too stiff on the trail. Need something with a bit more cush-factor.
Still working on 'er.
Hike the AT and ride the GDR.
Great stuff, Wheelmonkey. Thank you!
I'll keep you posted as I get closer to heading out. :)
I found $35 on the street in Aspen. I was there for work, and after a nasty, grimy day on the job site, I walked back to my truck. As I approached the truck, I glimpsed a small wad of cash on the...
Looks like a fun trip. Thanks for sharing these photos! Did you end up camping out? How'd that go?

I'm in the NE metro area, up near Lake Lanier. Looking to do some rides around this area, or Athens, or Gwinnett.... or wherever, really. Training to do some touring, and more of a recreational rider...
Thanks Ron! I really appreciate the help.
Love it. Thanks for sharing this!
So, I never really settled in to these forums, but have been on the bike a lot lately and want to be a part of the discussions. I'm in the Atlanta area, and have struggled to meet cyclists over the...
The crickets are deafening.
Rode the Suwanee Creek Greenway from end to end (9 miles) in just over 40 mins. Great weather and plenty humans out there!
I have been bitten by the touring bug, but busy work and family make it tough to get out there and ride. Looking to do some riding, whether just 10 miles or 50. Overnight trips, somewhere around...
Man, you folks are inspiring me to load up on bear spray, or 357 magnums, or something.
Some friends and I were camped out on the outskirts of Laramie, Wyoming, which happens to be my hometown. We...
I have a love of classic bikes, even the ones that don't fit me and I'll never get to ride. I've spent weeks staring at this Peugeot, which is a 64cm and waaaaaay too large for me at 5'-10", even...
2797182797171984-5 Peugeot Super Vitus 980, Campy bits, extremely light. It's a 64cm, which is too big. I need something in a 56cm or even 54, preferably a Trek 520 or something with touring geometry...
