ugh stupid internet was going slow, someone lock this thread.
Hello all, i have been rather busy, not knowing where my life was going to be (either in London or LA), the last time you all heard from me i was looking into buying a scattante cfr from supergo,...
yea, i did all that already...
I just bought the supergo case at $189.00 on their website. I am going back to London thursday and wanted the bike to be safe.
Anyway, i am struggling to pack it well - the super go case comes...
My cfr weighed in at 16.9 with the stock metal footpegs on, which i changed to some nice crankbrothers. This is also with the reflectors still on (front, rear, wheels) and something else that was...
It's a better deal at $1199 though
I am loving mine!!
To the other guys that bought the cfr, have you all liked the seat? I have heard nothing good about it from ppl at the LBS...
Yup, i am loving mine
FINALLY! Someone realises! This is exactly what my buddy who cut me the deal in supergo told me. Within 5 years i will either a) not be interested any more, b) be happy with the bike if it is...
i just bought the cfr scattante for 1199 pre tax. Nothing comes close. It is made at the same factory as kestrel. NOTHING COMES CLOSE for the money.
I live in NW London.
Anyone live near?
I saw at least 200 riders today on an aids ride. It was organized etc. I am going to go ride when they are done. Was great seeing them all ride, i wish i was out there! (Going to play tennis)
well i went to turn my shoe round like you guys said, but it keeps spinning!!!
Okay , i just looked at the bike, and realised i was on the small ring up front and the biggest at the back when i was climbing. If this is bad, what am i meant to do?
that was what i was doing - i was on the small ring up front and the smallest at the back. It didn't sound right, but it was the lightest gear i could find...
So how else can i make it up a steep...
Don't worry guys, i have 2 pairs of padded shorts...
Hey guys, as some of you may know, i am a RoadNewbie and just bought a very nice Scattante CFR as a graduation present to myself!
I have kitted it out with some nice gear - crankbrother quattros,...
Yes or no?
you paid $100 for it? Is it re-usable? Do you think amn airline would accept this to check?
Those cases are very expensive.
If i get a box from the LBS, do you think i should pack my clothes in and around the frame to protect it?
what box should i get? where do i get one from???
As topic states - what do you do? Do you dismantle EVERYTHING? How do you protect your wheels?
Info please, as i am taking my bike back to the UK with me in a few weeks and would like some ideas....
thanks for informing me, yes i'll be sure to provide an update! :)
