Woody rack still around?
Viscount cranks still around I really would like them.
I do still have it, I will step into the garage tomorrow. Any other details I should look for?
Replace the zip ties with some Campy cable clamps and keep Cinelli, way classier.
Thanks thats kinda what I assumed, wasn't sure if there was a big market for Gitanes though. Since I have the seatpost and stem I may just build it up the spindle taper for all french bb is ISO...
Picked up these two a few weeks ago, Gitane Tour De France Professional, and an unknown Fiorelli bike.
Gitane Frameset. I may end up throwing this one up here it seems the BF members appreciate...
Frame was in fair condition, little grime dirt...etc, nothing severe.
Frame I bought from a BF member, built it up for my dad finally get that old man some exercise turned out great. (Pictures were taken before brake adjustments, and possibly airing the tires)
Well earlier on in the thread I figured that much, I just wish I could put a name to the frame. It's extremely light and has a cool paint job to it so I will continue with the build. When I paid 180...
Looks to match to those, who put those out?
Any ideas on what it might be?
Ya surly was one of my first sources recommended to me, always seems to be something. ) =
This is kinda a last resort fork, 4130 is not what I had in mind
Haven't been able to find much information on the frame, doesn't look to be re-stickered, but the lugs are very different to the ones I have seen.
I wish I could but any columbus fork I have seen hasn't been above 200mm
I am in the process of building up this De Rosa Super Prestige track frame, unfortunatly it didn't come with a matching fork. I was having the hardest time just trying to find one, now the issue is...
Ya that's what I suspected, I ended up nabbing it for 125 with hope that I would be able to clean it up sell the parts and either repaint the frame or find a buyer.
Is leggera an accurate guess?
If so what would the frame might be worth?
I figured, late night post lead to a misspelling. Thanks
Just picked up a Sentesi, never heard of it but saw columbus tubing and shimano 105 groupo so for the price it seemed to be a steal. I was hoping anyone could shoot me any info on this bike I haven't...
Thanks I will look into it, hopefully find a match.
Any ideas on zeroing in on a solid match?
I have one I posted a little while ago, any info on it? http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/731621-Romolo-Lazzerati
Only know about the few posts on BF.
Ya the tape will go, how I picked it up. Was this italvega not built up with the NR derailleurs and suntour shifters?
Dare I part it out towards another project and make it a single speed?
Picked up the Italvega a few days ago, seems to be fully original with the exception
to the cheap BB that looks to be switched. The issue is it has been repainted, I would
think to the collectors...
