That's the only one that was on my radar. Can't justify a power meter. Virtual Power will suffice. But for what you would get, it's better to spend a little less than $500 for a well built quiet...

Velo Plugs for HED Belgium 2

Has anyone used the Velo Plugs on the HED Belgium 2 rim? The rim isn't listed on Bikesweets.com compatibility chart. The hole size is 8.5mm, so the yellow ones should fit.

Schwalbe One came to my attention a few hours ago. The reviews are very positive. Any idea on longevity. I'd like to get at the very least 1000 miles on a set.

  10. Pro-Lite Bracciano A42 tire recommendations

I just ordered a set of 42mm deep Bracciano rims with a 19.9mm width measured from outside edges to go on my new light bike build. These will be used as an everyday wheelset for good roads/paths,...

    Saddle to bar height

What is a good rule of thumb for saddle height to bar height for a decent aero position? I don't want to be so aero that my back is parallel with the top tube.

The reason I'm asking is on my...

I guess everything is relative. Before my first road bike(Cinelli), I was lumbering along on a Wal-Mart Schwinn Avenue at 28 lbs. Fitted some durable/heavy road wheels and cassette, threw on...

It's all in the setup. Your 15 pounder was probably more of a proper fit for you than your other bike. A poor setup is the main reason people go from a road bike to a mountain/hybrid bike.

Yeah, he could probably do without the RD. Anything more than a single speed is an unnecessary extravagance. Let's all just HTFU and lose weight.

  18. SRAM Black Edition RD. Harder to nab than snipes!

Does anyone have an idea what online stores carry the black edition rd. Amazon had one but the asking price was $450! No listings on Ebay. I guess Rival will do in a pinch. The only thing is I...
