Well thank you all but I'm still fighting.
But I'm in denial. :)
A name I haven't heard in awhile and I think he's smiling too while telling us to smoking carpet. :D
Like many others I don't see the swap as paying economic benefits. But I ride Campy so what do...
Assuming there has been no outright neglect and or crash damage 10 years is not an issue.
600 goes back a long ways. I ran 600EX friction in the mid80s and it was not a new name then. Other posters have the change to Ultegra right.
The zombies really are coming!
I have 28s on older box section rims. Didn't measure the rims but doubt they're wider than 23. Works fine and has made an enjoyable ride out of an old English frame I had in the garage.
Just so you'll know someone groaned when they read it. :)
Can you use regular toilet bowl cleaners on a gold plated commode?
Very few things marketed to people who are enthusiasts (see all the examples above) have to cost what they MSRP for. However,...
I really like the fit of Specialized shoes, even the ones below S-Works in their line up.

The Boa system is quite...
I told him I thought it was tacky at best but like I said above it's his bike and money. That said, I'm sure Specialized would disapprove very strongly.

That is the downside of ordering CF wheels from little-known suppliers. I have no intention of doing so. A friend has gotten good results but that's him.
Here's to thread resurrection. :thumb:
Have a Maillot Jaune in 853. Great bike though I must confess that my Ti Litespeed gets more miles.
I use the 3. Usually with 2 bikes but I've loaded it up with heavy beach cruisers and taken it for 100+ mile drives. It recently carried 2 more reasonably weighted bikes over 2400 miles. Switches...
A friend of mine on the wrong side of 200# rides Chinese generic carbon wheels. He is very happy with them and has at least few thousand miles on them by now. I don't know which supplier. Had...
I remember Viscounts. Aerospace Pro or something like that? A friend of mine rode them in the later 70s. They were quite the deal back in the day. 21# give or take and a lot less than the $1K that...
Thanks. I'll keep my eyes open but am not in a big hurry.
A few times, mostly to kids but to adults too.
Spent some time trying to find an adult trike for a homeless guy who has brain damage issues that causes him to frequently fall off the Wal-Mart...
I've never used this tape but that is sharp looking.
I tend to hold to this line. Anything is possible but I see a strong and prepared GC rider beat up on a depleted field. Tejay is a year away.
