How do you like them?
IBTL... thanks for sharing.
ETA: mine is starting to look rough, but it just goes to show I actually use it and carry stuff.
And why would you like to ruin a $100+ bag with spray paint??
So for something that I can walk around in without clicking like a race horse, where does one begin? I bought a pair of Forte off ebay (SPD). They are okay but my cleats are fully exposed. Should I...
You both have good points, thanks for the replies. Gonna listen to what my body tells me.
I've been riding the white TT Stripper since March. Has become my favorite bike for light commuting. Its on the SS side, one of these days I will man up and flip to fixed.
I've been commuting for 5 years now, taking a few weeks off in February. Not to boast, but there were conditions I really shouldn't have ridden in but did anyway (we are a car-light family).
My Tourist came with 32's and I ran it that way for a few years. Last winter I installed 35's and hated the way it rolled. Went back to the 32's. But that was just me.
Sounds like something I'd do!! That would be me, except I'm in Pennsylvania and have no immediate plans to drive to the west coast.
So I think what above few posts are trying to say is, have a bike fitted by someone that knows how to fit a bike, not just the salesman at the bike shop!!
Thanks for all the replies! Going unprocessed is a daily adventure. I discovered I am gluten intolerant, so thats been interesting.
One area I didn't think of is alcohol. I still consume on a...
Thanks for the replies. I'll raise it a bit and see how it feels. I am also ready to lower the stem some. Got like 5 spacers, but I am waiting until I am done losing weight to cut the tube.
**I posted this as its own thread and was advised to bring this over here**
I am on week 10 of eliminating all processes foods from my diet (cheat meal once every two weeks). I lost 20 pounds and...
So how should my legs be completely straightened out at he bottom of the stroke? Or should there be some bend in the knee? Feel like I need to do something. Maybe move my saddle front?
I am on week 10 of eliminating all processes foods from my diet (cheat meal once every two weeks). I lost 20 pounds and have another 20 to go. Problem is, I've been hovering at the same weight for...
I actually geared my Kilo down. Came with the standard 48/16 and geared down to 44/18 (68-ish inches IIRC). I lost 20 pounds and have another 20 to go so maybe down the road I'll gear up some.
I've been wanting to keep my Kilo Stripper pretty much bare bones. I use a messenger bag for my daily commute. But I've been doing longer rambles and need some other storage. Has anyone tried a...
After using these for a full two weeks, the Minoura setup has its pros and cons. Its worth using.... but not on the Kilo Stripper. I will, however, use this on another bike. I want to keep the Kilo...
And here I thought I was breaking ground for the Stripper Kilo's. Maybe next time.
Yeah, kinda. Except that people made a big deal over the "butt rocket" TT/Tri bike bottles mounts made of plastic. I found this fully metal contraption and I am pretty happy! No bottles launched into...
Been riding like this for two weeks, no problems loosing bottles. Pretty sturdy. I have about $30 in the mount plus cages. Mount is made by Minoura and the cages are cheapo Planet Bike. Bottles,...
That drooping cable needs some ties. Tidy up them cables!
I follow a processed-free diet (very similar to paleo) and I have found that hard-boiled eggs and fresh fruit to be my go-to foods.
I came up with a bracket that mounts to the seat rails that I can mount two standard bottle cages to. And I found a frame bag I really like, so crisis has been averted!! Will post pics when installed.
