Old race bike:
Just finished my first tt yesterday on rebuilt bike. Changed bars and position so still dialing fit in.
UMD or anyone else also there, do you know where to find pics from some of the photographers that were there? Trying to see some of the 2's and then friends in the P1 race.
2, that's why its not good.
Not as good as I wanted. Wish I would have ridden it before the tt. 14:41
Here is mine waiting to be built:
Flying from the East Coast to go out to do San Dimas and then Redlands the next week. Anyone going to be doing San Dimas? Never been to the area...
Time to start building...
Good to have a black bike in times like this....
Another race bike:
Off the front on lap 2 of 6 lap RR. Held it off for the win.
You mean this kid?
Sandy Springs crit:
Strong dude. I was the guy that rode off with him in the beginning. I have ridden away with him a few times and he is a strong racer.
Me and my team are making the LONG drive up there. Should be fun.
As far as I needed to go before I reached back in the jersey to get another. I was testing the BTP cages out for a while but found they blow. Now I have two Arundel cages on there.
Mine is custom also:
I like my steel bike.....
Just finished building up. Ignore the red tires as they are coming off.
Arundel +Assos bottle (x2) = Pimp
Then you take an old bottle, cut it up, put your tubes, tools, and co2 in it and toss it in the back of your jersey if you really need two bottles of liquid on...
For components you should try the deda bars for a traditional drop and stem if going for a classy look. It is aluminum and light.
Or you could go the easton route for slx3 bars, ec90 seatpost,...
Thanks Sacha. Great post and it clarifies the concept for me and I am sure others.
At least I win the srm game. Have a few of em (4 to be exact for now).
