Ok thanks! I actually do have one already but I am going to sell it... It's pretty uncomfortable (as they all are) however it has a 24" front wheel so its a bad bike to use as a measuring template......

How to fit a Funny bike?

Hi, I'm looking to add a funny bike to my collection... 700c rear, 650 front... Curvy funny looking frame... I ride a 56-57 square frame for regular steel road frames...

    How do I properly measure...

Thanks for the input! ... But... just to add... using the stop screws in the derailleur I have limited the derailleur to the three gears... so the derailleur will not push the chain off of them...

Thanks! What in particular do you hate? Overall build? Or just the idea of mounting the shifter there?

I get lots of flack locally from the track drop stem / bars but the shifter system gets lots...

Yea!! Those old dropouts were super long and had knotches in them to allow the wheel to easily sit in a different knotch for each gear chosen...

I'm curious myself how it works with the rear brake...

Thanks! I used that one because it's indexed to 8 speeds... so this makes it actually an indexed shifter on the three speeds... makes the shifting much easier...

    Also that's the only downtube...

  15. Thanks!... Well, if the gears are not close...

Thanks!... Well, if the gears are not close enough then the shifter won't be able to push the chain across... I think the three there are 15, 17, 19... something like that with two tooth intervals......

    Good point =)

But if you Watch this video you will see why I put it there...(Campagnolo's First Shifter) http://youtu.be/Z6UYOlN4FTU

Thanks! yup! Indexed to 8 speed =)

its a 3 speed but we got the spacing to work nicely so it's actually indexed shifting =)

its a bit dangerous because the blades spokes can slice your fingers...

yup! We tried a C-record but it just would not work... The Croce D'Aune mech is the only one that will work for those setup... Almost as though campagnolo invisioned my crazy idea when they invented...
