thanks everyone.. will get a new chain.. to test out my theory of using the ultegra 12/30 10 speed cassette with SRAM XO MTB rear derailleur. :)
ok.. thanks for the info.
holy cow.. this is bank.. Amazon.com : SRAM PowerLock Chain Connector - 4 pack 10 Speed, One Size : Bike Components : Sports & Outdoors
would other brand like KMC...
you mean using another sram powerlink to reconnect later?
i'm looking to resize my chain on my wife's CX running 2014 SRAM XO group with SRAM Red XG-1080 MTB Bike Cassette (10 Speed, 11-36T).
before when i had shimano groupset, i would always get those...
yea even the ultegra 12/30 is also a 10 speed.
just not sure if the gapping between the ultegra cassette will be an issue when used on the MTB SRAM XO RD.
57 views and no replie.. i take that as NO it's not compatible?
i have an ultegra 12/30t cassette and was wondering if i can use it on my wife's bike with the SRAM XO RD?
we've built up the redline CX with SRAM XO groupset for her to ride and tour with, but...
this is better pricing if someone is looking for the Garmin Fenix 2. everywhere is $299 for the base unit.
Garmin fenix 2 GPS GPS Fitness Watch
use code: RMN10 to drop price down to $270 with free...
i've builted up my redline with sram XO group with RED shifters. really love the range of gearing.
however, in the recent weeks i've been training hard. two weekends ago, i climbed montebello rd...
damn.. that is a even better find for the giro air attack. guess i'll try to get REI to price match. if not, then gonna return it.
is this helmet good for regular road riding, or mainly for TT?
damn.. that's a great buy at $1K... i would love to have one! congrats on the buy.. now go do some tri~
EDIT: i think the 3.3" refers to the packaging, which is what it would show on other sites. when checked out it shows as 700x23. but these are on heavy side.. good for touring
it does and it's a PIA to try and remove it by hand when you are out in the open without any tools.
that's why i'm checking to see if i can use my old wippermann from the DA chain to this one.
this is a 2 part question.
back when i was using shimano groupset, i recall chains were directional. can't tell if SRAM 1091R (10speed) is directional or not as not marks on there. just wanted...
wesmamyke: thanks! i'll double check on the housing. i recall using 3M electrical tape to secure it in place... but never hurts to double check again. thanks for the tips!! :beerchug:
i currently have it setup as narrow stance. if i set the hanger lower, wouldn't that make the brake lever travel longer to stop it?
i've adjusted the rear hanger to be higher, before it was too...
thanks wemamyke. I'll search for the sticky on canti brakes. i adjusted the tension and now it's not rubbing and then after a couple of good hard squeeze, the hanger seems to now be able to self...
anyone have a black 300mm+ seatpost in a 31.6? my carbon one from omniracer cracked :(
yea i love them too.. the looks of it and everything. we have the same brake set. :)
is the brake cable from the lever to the hanger...should that be tight or have some slack?
if only if you...
ok, i've installed it and now noticed that the cable hanger i installed is backwards. (see attached photo)391829 not sure if that has any effect on what i'm experiencing.
it's hard for me to get...
sorry about that. i'll be using it on the seatpost instead of on the frame itself. my friend has a seatpost collar that will fit 31.6mm diameter that is used for pannier rack. don't have it with me...
thanks to everyone's reply. i think i will get an alloy seatpost instead an keep my carbon one for other days..
saw this on the google image and looked very nifty, as it looks like it can hold quite a bit.
any idea what brand it is and where to get it at?
woodcraft: thank you for the info. i was thinking the same last night, maybe if i use wide stance, it might provide wider clearance? but love how the narrow stance look though~
