valygrl - Great job at Nats! Congrats.
Sizing question for all the experts here. I'm looking at some new frames and I want to make sure I get the correct stack for my fit. My current bike is a 58cm Jamis with a 58cm stack height and a...
I'm best when it's 100-110. Mine dropped this season due to work and family obligations and I was around 80-85 for MTB Marathon Nationals and Cascade and I felt it. Just didn't have the strength I...
Superweek in the '80s. Huge fields, Euro pros and great crowds. Also included late starts, lacking payouts, and lots of driving.
I'll be on the trainer for the next few weeks with a broken wrist, maybe I'll start House of Cards.
If you can pay a bit more I'd go for the PDX. It's a great tire if you only have one set of wheels. Really works well in everything and it's very durable. If that's too much $ then the Grifos would...
Great report Eric! You rode so well, congrats.
I raced/participated in CCC too. Felt like pack foder this year but I knew that going in.
MDcatV, I met your team mate. He had a great race.
Come on, time to get dirty!
Marathon Mountain Bike Nats in Sun Valley last weeekend.
Photo from my wife.
What course do they use, I assume the south course? Not really a crit, more of a circuit race. I don't know anything about the race but I used to do trackdays there when I lived in the area.
My shortish shorts on my SanRemo suit. I'm on the right of the picture. Team pic from Tour of Walla Walla.
I love mine too. I have 3 of them and use them for most road races. I save the shorts and jerseys for the crits! I'm 6'1" and wear a medium and it fits great.
I hate longer shorts. I'm dating myself but I like to go Sean Yates style!
Such as the secret videos from rkwaki .....
You forgot the 3 pair of carbon cross sew-ups hanging in my garage too
I never train with my race wheels on but I always train with my race face on! Oh yeah, gotta be ready to hit those KOMs with my big heavy clinchers.
Umm, good luck? Hope it went well? I guess.....
I need to stop drinking Diet Pepsi! This can't be good for me!
Nutella and peanut butter bagel sandwiches is a camping staple at my house. The kids and I love them
I have my first race bike from 1986 - only the frame and fork though. I also have my Junior team bike from 1988. That bike was built up for my GF/wife for a while. Others I had to give back when the...
No bunny hop?
Too, old! Upgraded when I was a junior. Our junior races in the 80s were crazy fast. Was made a 2 while a junior and never did a cat 4 race.
Rcaed track twice a week for many years. All my time spent at Northbrook, Kenosha and Indy has been invaluable.
Just make sure you fluff things up first. I always bring a fluffer to races never know when you might podium - you wanna look "impressive!"
