I can finally post here.
I ordered 2 Konas at the LBS a Kahuna and a Dew DL, brought the Kahuna home last night and will get the Dew DL friday.
Haven't had the chance to properly test the bike yet...
My SS MTB has a 32x18 gearing it's awesome for the trails and feel's ok for riding around town, if I changed the cog to a 16 or maybe 14 it'd be perfect for commuting, get a few cheap stamped steel...
The trip is over I'm at LAX waiting for my flight. Loved California and I envy everyone that lives here. I'll definitely have to come back to do some bike riding.
MASH was closed monday but I did visit it yesterday. But just walking around and seeing all the bikes go by is awesome already.

Today I did my first ride outside in traffic, rode to the LBS and back 10km. My leg still hurts and its not that easy to pedal standing up but it's getting.
It's been only 3 months since my accident...

I have the 3/32" version of that chain on my SS MTB and the 1/8" superlight version of that on my fixed gear, it's a great durable chain and quieter then some other chains I previously had.

This bike belongs to a local rider and weights 6,770kg. I haven't had the chance to see it in person...
New saddle, seatpost and pedals.
Feels good to ride again, even though i can only cruise around the block so far. Leg still hurts but its getting better.
