As for checking the inside of the tire for a small wire or whatever causing repeated flats, use a cotton ball of a piece of discarded ladies nylons, the cotton ball or the nylons will snag in the...
Sweet frame, a 2x9 or 1x10 would be sweet. Keep the V's in the back, not biggy whats up front, disc or v's
Just recently got a set of older 105 Front and Rear derailleurs for my Fuji Stratos R. What a difference of 105 over Sora cheapies that came on it stock.
Scrod what would you do with this?
It started as a 21 speed hybrid and I ride it on everything from rice paddy trails to the national road

Use acetone and then don't touch it.
The chain ring bolts need to have the chrome removed.
What if I wanted to discuss using a grease *** to lube my bottom bracket?

Nice bike it looks like it will provid many miles of comfort. Are there any plans for lighting?

A used Shimano 105 FD for my Fuji, waiting on a used 8 speed 105 RD to make a nice 2x8 out of some 2200 shimano stuff
Why are you changing the Diacomps, just get some new pads and cables then adjust well.

Since you edited your post, I'll edit mine
How do you like the Hubs?
I run a 42x14 on this, thinking of changing to a 52x14
