Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventure (May 15th) Registration is OPEN!!!
Hello!
Pisgah Productions and biowheels.com are proud to announce the third running of the Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventure on May 15th, 2004. This race will showcase navigational skills along with endurance in a mountain bike competition of epic proportions.
Teams of two riders will race to reach 4 of 5 checkpoints deep in the Pisgah National Forest, in any order, and return to the start/finish. THERE IS NO SUGGESTED ROUTE. No-one will know the locations of the checkpoints until one hour before start time. Routes will vary from 40 to 70 miles and should take 6 to 12 hours to complete.
For more information and to download a registration form go to:

Is this free since you don't seem to think you need to pay for your advertisement.
Why not donate to help out our forums since I am certain this is a for profit event. I'm a prospective participant since I ride Pisgah/Asheville a lot but I won't contribute to you unless you show similar respect towards our forum rather than just show up, register, and drop a free ad on a site that requires entities pay for advertisements.

Free? No. $25 each is almost free though. Oh, and as for a profit... In the end all I get is a big party with a bunch of folks that just shared an experience. All the race entries are put back into prizes, food, permits, and all the other things that make a race like this possible. In regards to advertising here, isn't this the 'shameless promotions' forum?
Anyway, the race is SOLD OUT.
