This is without doubt the greatest bike site on the net today. I do a lot of bike and motorbike riding in the UK and would like to say a big hi to everyone here.

Seems a little bare. Am I allowed to join if I'm an American?

Comic relief:
So I was just eating dinner, watching the '04 TDF Alpe D' Huez TT.
Paul Sherwen: "And he's saying 'Bridge to engine room --more power! But there is no more power'"
I almost fell off the couch laughing.

The best site on the web? It looks like the website (your website?) is only about discussing the UK, a person can't view what it is like until clicking some agreement. I would say something like Google.com, yahoo.com, if in the UK then BBC.co.uk would be more like one of the better websites on the web. The website agreement doesn't say anything about it being a website about bicycles. It does say you have to give an email address and cookies. It sounds more like a website for collecting email addresses to send out spam.
Under the bikieforums.net guidelines it states:
Solicitation
"Refrain from using BikeForums to advertise your site, items for sale, commercial services or website. You may attach a short link to your site within your profile or signature. Feel free to also post a link, and short description of your site in our "Shameless Promotions" forum."

Well, actually it is not about collecting email addresses for spam purposes. And unlike the other sites you have mentioned this one is uncensored. It really is an open forum for UK only discussion.
As for cookies ?? Come on are you THAT ignorant to what a cookie is ? This site generates cookies just like pretty much every other site on the web including this one. Its purely there to remember you for next time.
Im sorry this posting caused offence, I REALLY AM into bikes and motorbikes ( I have a ZZR 600 ) which i love to death. I even apologised for posting in the wrong place.
Come on guys lighten up a little
