I wasn't going to ride today, and then I was only going to go for an easy ride...

My legs were sore all day, and I'd been tired and just totally out of it...

So of course, that meant that after a 15 minute warm up, I decided to go ride with the front of the B (so A/B?) group...
This is one of my favorite hill rides in the area. I haven't done it since before my crash, when I was almost 10 lbs lighter haha.

So much for having an easy day...

That being said, I think it was possibly the best ride I've ever had. I shattered most of my longer duration power numbers, and I think my FTP is up by atleast 10 watts. Yes, I zeroed the SRM during the ride.

~27 hard miles with the group. I could barely close gaps towards the end of it, but I pushed and managed to close them well enough to finish with the lead group. Total of 32 miles for the day. I also got some good single paceline riding in. I'm terrible at finding the draft in single file situations, so this was very good for me.

The numbers:

I broke almost all my 'records' for everything over 5 minutes on this ride. I felt so good in spite of feeling bad when I went out. My back started hurting a lot after an hour, but some more core work should solve that. I need to dial in the saddle height of the 'new' fit, but it's very very promising. I'm psyched!

I think I need to bump up my FTP by around 10 watts, does anyone else see anything that would lead them to believe that it's set too low right now? It's currently at 260.
