NY kicks a** . im coming back for more..
isnīt it a wild race? even if its closed course- i prefer it to alleycats, because its as level as it can get while being so intricate, and i prefer the strongest to win and not the luckiest.. imho..
look at philly: the locals were not allowed in the alleycat, and i get second beaten by a guy from germany.. NY is open for all and 1 2 3 is locals.. pfft.
i dont know where im going with this.. except i bloody love cmwc

Glad you enjoyed the city, but you've been here before right?
CMWC is great, and the closed course is okay, how else could you do it with so many people?
I missed the ny alleycat, but unfortunately I heard there was some weirdness involved. Too bad, because alleycats are a blast also, in a whole different way.
There was one fellow who stood a good chance right up til the end. Ran a perfect race, was 10th at last checkpoint, tried to get a jump on others by taking the freeway back, jump freeway fence into park venue. He probably would've placed too, but the inflatable screen came down during the race, the only landmark he thought he'd need to know to tell him when to get off highway and jump over. I think the park was around 103rd, he was drafting cars until he came to the 125th? 128th? street exit, way off course. but hey, coulda shoulda woulda it was fun all the same.Originally Posted by cphfxt

I heard through the grapevine today, that there's gonna be a big money prize alleycat in New York around Halloween. I don't know if this is in replacement of the annual Halloween race. I hope it isn't.
Anyway, i've been told its gonna be $100 per racer, winner takes all!
Um... i'm sure so one knows more than i do... and this isn't for another few months anyway.
