O.K., now, I think I am on to something here: A raw cookie dough diet! Sounds good, but crazy. Granted it is all theory right now, but it seems to make sense to me.
First, instead of eating ice cream, substitute raw cookie dough. Think about it. Cookie dough has some flour in it as a filler so it's not like eating ice cream which is mostly sugar and cream (well, dairy fat, in fact). Plus there is other stuff in cookie dough like eggs which are pretty good for you (I learned that from a commercial the other day).
So, there you have it. Cookie dough to UP your healthy intake of good nutritional uhm, let's call them "things" for want of a more technical word.
Plus, and this is what I hope to be a secret bonus for the weight conscious in all of us, raw cookie dough has eggs in it! "What's the big deal about eggs?" you may be thinking along with thoughts like "Hey, aren't eggs fattening?".
Well, here is where I have the caveat. Raw eggs can (and I know this for a fact) go bad even without smelling or tasting bad. So, you could essentially eat and enjoy a bad egg. Hmmm.... Now, just so you believe that my information is factual and accurate, let me assure you that I have personally experienced the following phenomenon; eating bad eggs can give you a big case of diarrhea.
Some of you are probably way ahead of the game and are already thinking what I am thinking: That random bad egg - that random case of bad diarrhea - is the whollop to the whole cookie dough diet plan. Most of the time, you are just enjoying the cookie dough and watching the weight melt away modestly (having given up ice cream). Then, on that random and unpredictable evening when you eat the batch of cookie dough with the bad egg "Weight drop city, Baby" Oh, ya!
I know people who have lost like ten or more and sometimes really like 30 pounds from getting sick from bad food. And why not from bad eggs? I'm thinking that a bad egg could be as potent as maybe even bad fish. Well, maybe not, but who knows? - Maybe yes. The more badder the egg, the more lesser you weigh.
So, my cookie dough diet starts today. Who is with me on this? We need more testers in order to make this scientific. Just volunteer and then eat and post the results here. We also need a control group. That will be my wife who refuses to eat raw cookie dough (well, she is was raised "differently" so that’s why.
OK, then, let's do it!
