my cervelo
Here is my new Cervelo P2C. I just got it together last night and took it for the first ride this morning. It rides like a dream. It is mostly stock- Ultegra front and rear derailleurs, Vision base bar and aero bars & I added the FSA carbon cranks and Speedplay Light Action Stainless pedals. I will be upgrading to Dura Ace deraileurs and some Hed wheels shortly. All my upgrades are incentive based depending on how I do in my races. It tends to give you an extra push at the end of the race when you are staring at first place in your age group in the back. I will be sure to add pics as i upgrade.
Great bike! Definately get those carbon wheels on there..... For the sake of the bike!
Nice bike dude. Though my question....why are you going to upgrade to DA? there is very little performance difference, and a small change in weight. There are better ways to spend your money.
Road Bike- 2003 Trek 2000(out of service, rear triangle bent, looking for replacment)
Triathlon/TT- 2003 Cervelo P3(also looking to upgrade to the P3C)
MTB- 2006 Rocky Mountain Element Team
Cats don't like riding on a bicycle......no matter how much duct tape you use.
I also got the new '08 P2C Ultegra. Only thing I have in store is to get my position dialed in (loose most of the spacers) and save up for some nice race wheels. I think the Hed3 front and a Renn disc will look very nice color wise to this frame. I can't wait.

Very nice! That is what I plan to buy, when i get a tri bike......maybe summer 09 hahah
You Cervelo guys realize there is a max recommended spacer height?
FS: Fuji SL1 frameset, 55.5cm toptube, excellent condition.
Bike is a sweet throw back what year is it?
I have only found a max height on the Wolf SL fork not the TT fork. If you have any other info to support this it would be greatly appreciated. I have dropped a few spacers but I want to be sure that it is not over the max- if there is one on the TT fork. I am sitting at 55mm from top of the head tube to the bottom of the stem. Check out Chrissie Wellingtons bike I guess Cervelo didnt let her know of any max spacer height. Hers is about at what mine is in the pic I posted before dropping down.
Yaay, I got a new bike! Giant Trinity Alliance A2, with upgraded derailleurs (Ultegra) and my own mishmashed front end of Profile/Oval bars. I've only put about 50 miles on it so far, but I've gotta say, what a bike. Handles great, I can get nice and steep, and everything is nice and aero. Plus, the price can't be beat.

Cool looking bike. I like the picture of you on it. You look aero yet comfortable.
And hopefully you will go fast!![]()

Sorry, forgot about this thread. The general concensus of big shops, Competitive Cyclist and the like, is spacer max= the diameter of the fork expecially on carbon forks. I couldn't find the TT fork specs, but I double checked with a shop buddy of mine who swears it's 50mm including the headset top cap.
I'll do some double checking, so don't quote me on that spec.

Rahzel, I think you got the absolute best bang for the buck bike out there. Just add some aero wheels and you'll be able to compete against anyone. I've been thinking about picking one up too with the same derailleur upgrade. And yeah, your position looks great on that bike.
Thanks for the kind statements! I completely agree about the A2 being the "best bang for the buck" bike right now. I would definitely recommend the A2 with the derailleur upgrade to just about anyone, 9spd Ultegra is pretty cheap nowadays anyway
Race wheels (bikesdirect vuelta 50mm tubulars with wheelbuilder.com wheel cover) are on the way!

I'd like to post my latest bike but can anyone help me with the size of image to upload. All I get is 100kb max for a jpeg which shows a pic not much bigger than my avatar. Thanks.
