Sorry Marty, I'm not at all being serious. Team OV is in serious trouble this year.

i thought he did pretty damn well. no real need to chase even though i dont think he oculd have followed at the end. plenty of climbing left in the tour.
didnt discovery just blow up, no 8 straight for them.
You don't need proof when you have instinct.

Gabriel, je regrette, mais je non parle pas francais. Monsieur Matagi demande - ou habite tu?Originally Posted by classic1
I thought it pretty funny after the interview he gave at the beginning of the coverage, "Im Cadel's protection blah blah blah." Then he basically doesnt make it over the first climb with him. Hopefully he'll come good in the Alpes. He bloody wanna, or he'll have an angry bunch of Aussies after him.Originally Posted by climbo

Looks like discovery is having a year off this year. Hincapie is funny to watch. He gets dropped the motorbike is filming him, and you swear Hincapie looks like he is just going to the coffee shop.
M. Matagi n'est pas heureux. Gabriel est dans une pile de merde
Sur votre vélo Gabriel
So finishing 4th on a stage that fractured majorly isnt agressive?Originally Posted by mrkott3r

he didnt need to attack? its a long race and he wasnever going to drop Landis on this stage... leipheimer was looking for a stage win, hes well out of contention for GC.
the further down the order of theline you are the harder it is to respond to an attack. he did v well.

Finishing climb was only 6%,he likes it steeper. Pyrenean stages are usually steeper and shorter climbs, his style. The final climb was a power climbers climb, long not too steep, allowed ryhtm. LAndis just dominated. Very strong.Originally Posted by mrkott3r
Evans has to make a move on alpe d'huez if he wants to win. The 8% climb is in his strikezone.
Alps are better quality roads, wider, not as steep, but longer and higher. Evans prefers the Pyrenees, probably a legacy of his MTB days. Steep, more narrow roads, less quality bitumen.
Not sure the realtive swtichbackness... but if switchbackness implies less % steepness, Alps might have more switcbacks, but they can break up rythm, depending on the tightness. so another contradiction,
Err Gabriel live in Greenland. Very long way. Unfortunately I unable to meet avec Monseuir Matagi.Originally Posted by matagi

So playing around with the bike last night changing the old cables cause the old ones were a bit rusty. Undid the cable stay on the front derrailleur and filings drop to the floor...uh oh, that can't be good. Anyway, I change the cable and went to tighten up the cable stay when, "Oh Sh*t, the screw has threaded itself". I then got the screw out and lot's of filings fall to the floor... The bracket has also threaded and now doesn't tighten up..."OF F*CK!!!" Spanners etc bounce off the walls while I try and work out what to do.

not knowing much of sweet FA about weight, but how important is core strength to a bench press? i would imagine verry, and the only real combining factor between all the guys mentioned would be thier core strength...

Sorry, I hit the wrong button...
To continue. I thnen have a look to see if I can drill and tap...can't do this cause it would compromise the strength of the derrailleur bracket. So now I've got a 5mm hex head through the hole, which is being tightened by a SS nut on the other side. Is working ok but looks CRAP. Looks like I'm up for a new front derraileur.
Anyone here have a 9 speed, triple Shimano Ultegra/Dura Ace braze on for sale?

back arch is considered bad yes?

Existence, yes, the Tephra CTi is an amalgam of Carbon and Ti. Is it worth the upcharge over the Ti? I think it will give the best ride eva or I wouldn't introduce it to the top of the range. If I didn't think it was an improvement over straight Ti, I wouldn't make it.
Of course, nobody 'needs' anything more than a double butted cromoly bike with 105, but it sure is nice![]()

How excellent was the tour last night! I stayed up and watched the whole thing and it was totally riveting.
Menchov, Landis and Leipheimer looked very strong but it's early days yet. Everyone was still feeling the water but the war of attrition made for great TV.
The tour has finally begun! YESSSSS!![]()
