    Good bike shops in Boston??

Hey I just moved to Boston, anyone know of any good bike shops? I'm looking for a place where I could get a tune-up/maintenance type stuff on an old road bike from 1980. I'm in the burbs west of the city, cambridge, watertown, newton that area. Thanks!

I have a friend who works at Landry's (A small chain, opened a new store in Boston this year), so if they do you wrong, I know whose knees to break They're located on Comm Ave just west of the BU Bridge.

I've been a customer at Harris Cyclery (Link above, thanks late.) pretty much my entire life, starting when the bicycle business was in the back of Harris Hardware. ("Authorized Raleigh Dealer") If you've got something old that you would like to fix up, they'll gladly help you out. They believe that a bicycle should last for decades. The hardware store is long gone, the bike business lives on.

Wheelworks is also a good shop, and very well known. Well stocked, usually friendly people. I've never been in Landry's but they also have a good rep.

Bikeway Source in Bedford. At the end of the Minuteman Bikepath. Caring, attentive, real professionals with personal touch... Eric, Chris, Randy and Guy are all awesome.

The inventory in this place sucks...Everytime I go there to something specific, they have like two choices...
