I'm here over in Montlgomery County, sluggin along
Problem with the way these regoinal forums are split up is that the DC area is cut into two groups. Don't know whether to post in NE or SE or both, so most of the time it's neither.
Southern AA/Northern Calvert here. (North/Chesapeake Beach is the home base)
I got the bike for crosstraining.
I am out pretty much every weekend, either on inlines or the bike.
I certainly see enough other riders on the road, but I haven't had a good chance to meet any.
Queen Annes county. Water, trees and more water.
I run, bike ride and try to roller skate.
P.G. County checking in... I ride mostly on rail trails (WB&A, B&A and W&OD) while training for the Seagull Century.
also checking in from PG
Hello from north-central Baltimore County!
Carroll County here. But I ride all over.

North Harford/Baltimore County Here I can be found at Loch Raven, Lake Redman, and a little secret local spot![]()
Eastern B'more in Balto-county.
2009 mileage = 14,738 miles; 2010 mileage = 15,234 miles; 2011 mileage = 17,344 miles; 2012 mileage = 11,414 miles; 2013 = 1,002 miles
Silver Spring in Montgomery county here. This is the first time I've ever looked in these regional forums. Maybe I'll have to start paying attention.
God grant me the serenity to accept the hills and winds I cannot change;
courage to challenge the cagers I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
(with apologies to AA)
24 mi. roundtrip -- Maryland suburbs to DC and back.
Nice to know he have a nice population of md bike riders, but none in Queen Annes County.
So even though I'm on the nicer side of the riverI'll jump in and ask if anyone is riding the Indian Head Century on Sunday? I'm doing the metric with a few friends.

The Baltimore Bike Club is holding their Civil War Century on Saturday morning at 7am starting at Thurmont--thinking about doing that one. It has about 7,400 feet of climbing across 105 miles.Originally Posted by dpara

PG County here--if you've ridden in the Beltsville Agriultural Research Center on a weeknight you've probably seen me training.

Thanks, -=Barry=-
Though 'Spokes' is not a forum, there is a way to comment textually or via a poll on the articles or stories shown on the site or to contribute a story. Barry always seems to have his finger on the pulse of B'more cycling advocacy.Originally Posted by The Human Car
