Pick up Rock Creek Trail in Georgetown. Path along the west side of Rock Creek Parkway. North past the zoo.
Or the Capital Cresent to Jones Mill, then left to Beach.
Connecticut Ave (or road of your choice) to Brandywine, which turns into Broad Branch and goes to Beach.
Tilden also works.
