This morning, having a narrow choice of food, I snarfed down a can of tuna, an apple, a pack of cheap Ramen noodles, and a pint of nonfat dry milk.
Well, you gotta eat! The alternative is major bonk and muscle weakness for the ride home. Now I've got to scrounge something else before lunch...
Then again, reading the labels of food can get monotonous (since I pretty much know garbage by heart now when I see it, and this morning I closed my eyes.)
But John Stamstad eats Little Debbies (those things made of hydrogenated oils and sugar) and anything else he can get, including salad oil. John is the king of offroad endurance cycling events.
Sometimes it is best to just eat it and shut up.![]()

tuna for breakfast) but Ramen noodles? And dry milk?
I like to think her fats are hydrogenated in a special, caring way.
