I was checking out the hpvelotechnik scorpion mentioned earlier. That looks interesting with the suspension system. How efficient would that be with a 260lbs rider?

Something like that ought to work well for a single-rider trike, too. Make sure you take extra steps to protect the paint on the car, if it's being leased...

I'm 6'3", 240 lbs. and have a 2011 Catrike Villager that is very comfortable. Unfortunately, not riding as much as I thought I would. Does anyone know the best place on the web to advertise for sale?

I don't own a recumbent bike, but several diamond frames, road, touring and mountain bikes. I have been thinking of a recumbent. What is the advantage/disadvantage of a trike over a 2 wheel recumbent?

Basically, the main advantage is that you can't fall over, no matter how slow you're going.

I agree, in this case the old thread didn't have much to do with tdbmd's question, and the better choice would have been a new thread. Sometimes we tow a fine line with newbies, expecting them to do thread searches before asking what to us is a repetitive question, but complaining about zombie threads.

I guess that we could say that new threads are almost always OK, except to raise a topic that's still on the front page in another thread!
