Don't have pics at the moment but we share the house with 2 cats and a dog
(ok, so I like CSN).
Spiff (cat) named for spaceman spiff, used to be hyper now 13 years old, just whines all day.
Voldemort (the evil one) not really a cat, I'm convinced he is a lesser demon from the 3rd circle
of hell. Chases myself, my wife and my German Shepherd around the house. My wife accidently
stepped on the old whiney cat who let out a yowl, the evil cat ran into the room and promptly
attacked the dog.
Sassy, purebred German Shepherd (Alsatian for out European brethren),8 years old.

All of the above were rescue animals, Sassy from the breeder. The cats from humane society.

My pet black widow Fido died yesterday unexpectedly after I sat him in the sun for too long. Being the great owner I am, I thought he'd like a tan, but he ended up turning into a prune. I was busy eating chicken, I forgot about the poor guy. RIP buddy. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.



At first I thought he was playing dead, because he's an expert at that. He also knew how to roll over. But then I realized the next day there's no way he could play dead for 24 hours, he'd get a blood clot in his knees doing that. So I knew he was dead. Snff snfff....

I have a menagerie, all strays or unwanted critters. In addition to the run-of-the-mill idiots who use our neighborhood as a dumping ground for animals, we used to have a genuine Crazy Cat LadyTM the next street over and when the cats would get too sick for her to deal with, she'd turn them loose. Guess where a few of them ended up?

Carnaby-- old lady of the bunch, but she still thinks she's pretty sexay.

Kephra came from a shelter where she had spent a year and a half in a cage. She was my birthday present to myself last year.


Margaret Scratcher is the uber kitty. She was dumped in a parking lot as a kitten and Mike Like Bike found her and brought her home.


Piccadilly is Carnaby's daughter (we think). She's very sweet, but completely insane.


Thomas Windsor Gingerpuss broke my heart when he died of cancer in November, 2005. I still can't believe he's gone.


Vlad "The Bad" Paddington is Kensington's son (we know this for sure). He's a punk. If he were a person, he would have spent his life in and out of jail.


Clovis Rabbit is between 10 and 11 years old. He's almost totally paralyzed, but he loves to eat and be petted. Here, he's watching The Sopranos with Vlad.


Murph is a full-blooded Murph Hound who got stuck under the car one night. No one ever claimed him and we suspect he was abused by a man with facial hair because it's taken over two years to get him to see a bearded male without freaking out. He's the best dog ever invented.

Wow-- there is a definite resemblance-- especially with the short ears. Murph's got short legs and weighs about 40 lbs, and while there's beagle in the mix, his mom had some fun with something else, too.
