Chiang Mai, Thailand is the place to be

    Now that I'm here.

Anyone know if they let people ride on the velodrome at the 700 Year Stadium?
Anyone want to climb Doi Sutep sometime?
Anyone wanna Race in Chiang Mai's (and probably Thailand's) first alleycat "CHIANG MAIlstrom"?
(I'll get more info up about that when I get the chance)

    Let me know!!!!!

    cycling in Chiang Mai

    Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, but have been cycling around CM for about 5 years. I climb Doi Suthep 1 or 2 times a week at the moment, and do the Samoeng loop once or twice a month. Also preparing for a climb of Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest mountain. Let me know if you're interested in riding together sometime.

I have no idea about the Velodrome, but I was thinking the same thing about the Velodrome near Bangkok. I'll be in Thailand for a few months this winter, and look forward to doing Doi Inthanon as well. I believe there is a race to it's top each year, but you'd need to check with an LBS for the dates.

It's just a guess, but I believe riding the Velodrome in Chiang Mai would be allowed, they may charge a fee, in fact I would expect that they would,
