I just got an 83 mirage sport, I am installing new bars, so photos soon!
A 1974 Motobecane Classic 5 speed. It has the wrong brakes and saddle, but otherwise is mostly original with Huret/Solida running gear.
Not mine anymore as I sold it this summer on CL. When I got it the previous owner had upgraded half of it to Shimano 600 so that was parted out. I built it up as a parts bin build and it turned out nicely. The best part was the sewn leather Motobecane branded bar covering that I used from another Moto I had. It is a 80 somthing Super Mirage as far as I could tell.

Here is my early to mid 80's Super Mirage mixte conversion. I'm not done fixing her up yet as I want to have the wheels rebuilt along with adding a Velo Orange bag and installing leather mudflaps. Though it doesn't show in the pictures, the paint is a beautiful black metallic. This Super Mirage is in virtually perfect condition as found on Craig's list.
Here is another Super Mirage mixte that belonged to a friend of the Mirage above. I bought both. They were both purchased on March 19, 1985 but there is different equipment on both bikes leading me to believe that they are not from the same year. I'm debating to either convert it to upright bars as above or sell it; I have not decided yet.
By the way, both of these have the somewhat rare single to dual sloping top tube.

Here's 3:
My mid 70s Grand Jubile built up with Mavic hubs & early Shimano 600, an 86 Grand Tour which I sold recently(but not before swapping the Stronglight triple & Lyotard pedals onto the Grand Jubile). My latest, just back from powder coating, a 1988 fillet brazed Grand Record frameset. Don

For those withte h Jubile Sports, any idea where to get touch-up paint? I have a couple of spots that need redoing, and the color looks the same on mine as garrettbuckeye and DVC45.
Pics of my 1975 Grand Record that I recently sold.
It was a bit small for me (at 58cm) and I didn't want to fork out for a new stem and handlebars to try and make it fit. Pity, it really was a pretty bike.

Here's my 70's Grand Touring in winter commuter mode. I've since ditched the Brooks in favor of a Vetta SP, installed a seatpost with a bit more length available, and swapped out the stock 170 crankset for a 172.5 Gipiemme.

OK, I just became an owner, but not yet sure IF I can include the word "proud"! Still trying to figure out what this is. Thanks to dbarnblatt and another gentleman for responding to my other post. See "Gift of the Moto" for more details on bits and pieces. Thanks.

Here's a photo of my '83 Mirage Sport, taken when the bike was about a month old. (Apologizing in advance for poor picture quality).
Here you can see the original red handlebar covers, seat, and cables.
Here's the very same bike today, 25 years later, currently doing duty on the trainer stand:
Both wheels, all cables, brakes, seat, seatpost, pedals, and handlebar covers are all replaced; everything else is original.
It's still rideable, but one of these days I'd like to give it a proper upgrade with a decent set of wheels.
Just the thread I've been waiting for! Here's my Grand Touring (1975, I think):
