I have that one. Put it on to spin every once in a while. They were the proto-hair metal band. I saw them in concert about '76 or '77.Originally Posted by heybulldog

Uh oh, I feel a Velvet Underground phase coming on.
I chickened out on my ride today because all my cold-weather wear is still in a pile of dirty-laundry. So I decided to hook up the trainer and watch some old TdF tapes. Coincidently, I've been really getting into a local Seattle band called The Postal Service who very much remind me of The Lightning Seeds so I've got them queued up in my mp3 player as part of my indoor riding music playlist.

The Best of Jethro Tull. Outstanding! Mozart, early lute music (1500's). I've heard of Kraftwerk, but not in quite awhile. Must check out the new one. Thanks for the tip.
I've been all over the musical map today: Willie Nelson, Cheap Trick, Big Band Theme Songs, and Death and the Maiden (that's not a heavy metal band, it's a Schubert string quartet).

Sad love songs...just the mood I am in.
Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
I just picked up The Cat Empire's CD and have it on high rotation. You can't listen to these guys and feel sad.
