    A whole day of cleaning the bike **56k WARNING**

    So I've gotten this idea from some people at a different forum, and it seems kinda fun, so I decided to try it for myself. Here's my typical day off, with a project on my mind.

    Time to wake up!


    Slept in ...


    Check to see what's going on today.


    Start wh0ring before my girl gets the comp.


    My girl said she was hungry, so I made her some breakfast.


    Then had to check the markets.


    This is what I had left for myself to do last night. Time to continue the project of cleaning it.


    Halfway there, but I need tools and parts.

    Saw an RX-8 on the freeway.


    Gotta save gas ...




    Almost to my first stop.


    Here to pick up the tools and get a new job.

    Leaving the airport and back up north to hit the bike shops.


    Gotta keep those cops at bay.


    In Palo Alto, second stop for parts.


    One of my favorite bicycle shops. Too bad they weren't hiring. Got some headset bearings here. The mechanic said they were 10 cents a piece, so I asked for 30. But when he wrote up the invoice, he didn't write down the total, so another guy at the register looked at me kinda weird and charged me 11 cents.


    Not enuf parts at Palo Alto, so next stop ...


    I went to 2 other bike shops after Performance looking for titanium bolts and studs, but no one seemed to carry them. I was getting tired around this time so i decided to go home.

    Moving at the speed of traffic this time ...

    Got home and resumed my project. My girlfriend left for school soon after. This was around 6pm. I finished around 9pm.


    Got hungry, so heated up some dinner and take a break.


    Almost finished! Just need to clean up.


    After taking that last pic, I turned on SpikeTV and watched Star Trek and waited for The Joe Schmo Show.


    After which I downloaded the pics and started uploading them. Thanks for looking! This is pretty cool ... BTW, "Megan" is my car's name.

    Almost had the same eventful day as you did, only it was my first day back at the shop and all I did was build a wheelset for a person, then went home, and here I am.

    My girlfriend took the pic of me sleeping. She was too camera shy and threatened to spank me if I took a picture of her and post it on the internet. It was a very tempting offer though ...
