yeah so about about two days in advance one of my teachers asked if i would be interested in climbing the south sister here in oregon, i was totaly stoked! having never done anything like this and was thrilled to go! so yesterday my teacher, and 5 other guys went on to climb a 12 mile (round trip) and a 5000 foot in elevation gain (up to about 10,300 feet). most of the way up it was faily dry with minimal snow, but halfway up we where on snow the rest of the way. it was a crisp 70 deg day but i was still VERY cold tords the top due to some wicked wind i would say at a steady 45-55 miles. it was a hell of a trip! i loved every minute of it! cant want to do mt, Hood come spring time
here is a pic of the south sister (with a bit more snow on it than now) its the one on the far left (largest one)
