    NorCal Event Calendar

I thought it might be helpful to both the regulars and the visitors if we had a thread (perhaps stickied ) that summarized all the upcoming events. We could list them with links to the specific thread, and just update the calendar as needed.

Apologies for getting behind in updating the thread...mommyhood is taking a bit of my time.

    September 2010
September 4 - Sonora Pass Century
September 25 - Knoxville Double Century (official site)
September 29-30 - MS Waves to Wine

    October 2010
    October 2 - Canyons Century
    October 2 - Grizzly Century
October 3 - Mount Diablo Challenge
October 3 - World's Largest Bicycle Parade World Record Attempt at UC Davis
    October 3 - UmneyDurak's ride of DOOOM
October 9 - Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century

Nice. Very helpful. Now I don't have to go searching for all those threads anymore.

JB, thanks, I added those in. If there are threads for new events already, we can post the links for them too.

Excellent idea. I keep wondering how people know all this stuff is coming up, where they're finding it. Consider the thread stuck.

Ok, a couple more (these aren't on my list to do this year, so I didn't see them when I checked my calendar):

America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride 6/1
Climb to Kaiser 6/28 (killer ride, supposed to be harder than the Death Ride)
    Marin Century 8/2
    Mt. Shasta Summit Century 8/3

And someone else will have to list the doubles!

Spooktacular Century in Bakersfield - 10/25/2008

Yeah, I know, it's kinda far, but for those that want to do it, there you have it.
I'm in it to finish it.

Oops - I had a typo - the Lighthouse Century is the 27th of September, not the 17th. Sorry, Paula!
