i have a gios pista and the person who owned it before me put a ****ty road fork on it that has way too much rake. who makes a carbon track fork or just a nice track fork? I have had problems finding one online.
yeah but the thing is i am not looking for a road fork. i am looking for a straight up track fork. low clearance steep rake fork.i will most likley just get one made for my bike but I was curious if anyone made a aftermarket track fork
american cyclery sells some forks in their fixed gear online store. all are steel tho. the soma threadless has track rake, but is drilled for a brake and has the clearance for one. i don't know much about the cinelli forks they're selling, but you could probably give them a call.
Get in touch with WWW.Businesscycles.com and have John order you the Cinelli Track fork. It will save you about 50 bucks over the American Cyclery price. Same fork, just cheaper.
Alpina do a straight carbon fork designed for track racing, it has a 1" alloy steerer and retails at £99 or approx $175. www.oldhamcyclecentre.co.uk has them, and I'm sure there must be a dealer for them in the US.
Track cycling has a Ridley straight carbon fork also for £110:
Oh yeah colnago does make a track fork, I have not seen them for sale other then with their pista frames though. It just seems wrong to me to be a colnago fork on anything but a colnago though...
