Velovision Trip to Spezi 2010
Last year's trip was very enjoyable and successful, and I'm planning to make this year's very similar indeed. I must admit though that in the rush up to Christmas I haven't yet confirmed all of the details: these will be finalised early in January. But basically, the trip will be as per last year:
https://www.velovision.co.uk/cgi-bin/show_comments.pl?storynum=969
We'll be staying again at the excellent Bellheim Tennis Club, with shower etc facilities on site and with breakfasts served each morning (optional, 5 Euros each IIRC, and plenty of it!). Where we park is a few miles away from the show venue, so you'll need to bring a bike, ideally a folding one (we may have some spares, or a few non-folders can be accommodated if necessary).
The only significant change may be to change the pickup point from near King's Cross station to somewhere like Upminster tube station, to avoid the bus getting caught in the Friday eveing London traffic. This should get us to the ferry a bit earlier and generally give a bit more time in hand, while still being convenient for most people to reach from or via central London. I'll take soundings about this from all who have expressed an interest when I get back in January, and also discuss with Chop our driver before making a decision. Let me know if you have any views...

This year`s Minivelo Lovers Festa `12 will be held on June 9th - once again Tokyo National Stadium.
Last year`s event was incredible, with drool worthy folders and minivelos all over the place! Once again, this year, there will be small wheeled bike races around the perimeter of the stadium, as well as a custom bike contest Many manufacturers will be there displaying there latest offerings.

Lots of photos here:

If you live in Japan, or will be here at the time visiting, let me know - maybe we can organize a ride up to the event. If you want to go up in style on one of my "Yokohama Rides and Rentals" Pacific Carrymes, I can set you up!

Does anyone know if there's going to be another Folder Frolic ride in conjunction with the Interbike show in Las Vegas this year?
If so, when and where? In front of the Venetian again?
Please advise!
