Steel is real....... I ride a Ritchey P-20. Had it custom painted candy green. Even got Tom to sticker it with team ride transfers. It rides better than any other I have ever tried......

You might see me around Wisconsin on either an MB-3 or my new 99 FSRXC. Each has its charms.

I'll jump in

Just got a 1996 ProFlex (656?). My first bonafide MTB type bike. Not many mountains in Wisconsin though, but I'll make do.

I have a 1991 Trek 8500, which just won't break...*bless it*...I'm quite excited actually, as I've just bought my first Suspension forks Marzocchi Z2 Superfly, so I just can't wait!!!!!!!!! Bit worried wether it'll freak out my geometry though....have fun wherever you ride!!!!

Yeah!!!! The Marzocchi Z2 Superlights have really give my Trek a new spring of life...I was a bit of a suspension skeptic, but have also bought a USE shokpost which saves my botty on rooted sections.

I thought it might throw my geometry out the window, putting suspension on a '91 MTB, but I got around it by selecting a 70mm travel fork. Anyhow, I'm off for a ride, take it easy wherever you ride...Rich London,UK

Bikes: Lots

My Ride - Which One!

I just sold my Specialized FSR that was totally tricked out. I miss her already!

With the money I bought a Cannondale F2000SX, the red white and blue one with the Lefty Fork and disc brakes. The long travel Lefty ROCKS! I was a bit skeptical at first, but I've had no problems as of yet!!

I also have a Litespeed Pisgah Frame I am in the process of building up.

As of yesterday, I just bought another used frame off of EBay, what was I thinking? No other bidder and a price of only $125.00 for a Gary Fisher Supercaliber, I just couldn't resist bidding!!!My wife is going to kill me, AGAIN!

I had a Giant Iguana SE but I broke the rear V-brake caliper welds right off the frame. I had the frame replaced with a brand new ATX 840 for free from Giant. I want to get a Norco VPS-1.

Up until yesterday I rode a 2000 Trek 4500....I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Trek Fuel 98. This is one totally awesome bike! I'm glad I waited for it, and I'm totally impressed with the way my lbs (Conway Bicycle Shop) stayed after their rep to get one of the first ones out the door for me. Can't wait to hit the trails for the first time on Sunday.

Happy trails

I go a '98 Voodoo Erzulie with some Z3 Lites and I adore it. So much so that I just bought a new groupset and wheels for her cos I didn't want a new bike. Incdently I have never seen anyone ride a Voodoo in the UK apart from me. There must be a few more somewhere?

I ride a 97 carbon fiber y bike customized by myself with marzoochi atom bomb on the front and shimono xt/xtr parts. I love this bike and even though they discontinued the series, itll be a long time till i switch to a new bike. I like this one way too much to switch.

I started serious biking on a VooDoo Canzo 20,5" fully, XT/XTR with Crossmax. Powered by 185mm TA cranks.

Now I race my VooDoo Bokor 21" hardtail, loved it so much that I bought a second one to beat up at beachraces and training.

My race-Bokor is set up with : Avid Mag brakesystem, dura-ace rear der, XTR front. King Wheels, rear wheel with left 12 and right 24 spokes. Easton CT2 carbon bar, cheap stem. King headset, SRAM Attack gripshifters. Bebop crmo pedals.
Total weight : 9.4 kilo's (20.6 lbs) and still dropping.

Oh, and I have a Giant TCR with Ultegra and 185mm TA cranks and a full-deore sticker-brand commuterbike.

Next up : one or two 'crossers to get me through the 2001/2002 Super Prestige, I promised myself to start them all, oh my goodness!!

1995 Claude Butler volante Frame (needs to go), Marzzochi 2001 Z4 air 100 (reason frame needs to go) FSA orbit UF headset

2000 XT drivetrain with LX hollowtech crack and raceface chainrings with SRAM PC99 chain

Avid 1.9L Brake levere XTR front and XT new Rear brake with carbon brake boosters

Mavic crossride rear wheel, LX front on X517 ceramic (built by me before i left the bike shop), Panaracer Fire XC pro folding tyres, hope Ti QR's.

raceface stem and seatpost, spesh BG comp saddle, Titec low riser bar, yeti speed grip, Profile desig Carbon Bar ends (freebe), Avid flackJacket Gear cables, Gore ride-on Brake cable.

it very laid back on the flat due to the fork but get it compressed in hard turns and it sharpens up a treat.

Bikes: Gary Fisher Marlin, Fuji Sagres, Raleigh Twenty

I'm riding a Gary Fisher Marlin. Anybody know anything about this model?
It has deore brakes, weinmann wheels, shimano
acera deraileurs. I bought it used for 160.00. Is that a good deal? I'm thinking it
was because It's the best bike I ever owned, and I've had 5 or 6 in the last 25 years.
It's really nimble.
