    Topeak Customer Service Telephone #

I am ranting about the Topeak customer service experience and their terrible website.
There is no address or phone # provided for this company.
They want you to sign-up for help desk, then when you do, your password doesn't work. With my hotmail, there is NO text in their e-mail confirmation of sign-up. I did it twice. I did it with my AOL, twice so far, and in the text can discern no new password.
I cannot communicate with this company!!!!!!!!
All I need is a small part and they are driving me crazy.
I mean, no phone or address provided by their website?
Has anyone else had this problem?
I like their Wedge Pack, but come on with the customer service!!

Well, I just tried registering with their help-desk via my hotmail account, and it worked just fine.

Their sign up deal did not work at all for me when I did it a while back. Same issues as you. I know that I called and was handled very quickly and efficiently and got exactly what I needed.

Wish I could tell you what number I called.

So,I found a phone # listed under "distributors," which I thought meant retailers.
I called them during business hours and got voice-mail.
When I got their e-mail in my hotmail, there was no text, it was blank!
Don't know what's up with that.
Don't know why you have to hunt around on the site, rather than having the normal, "contact us" info.
Whatever. It just seems like their contact info is a little mysterious. Maybe I'm just stupid, I'm willing to take some blame, but I do internet/mail-order business all the time and never had such a problem contacting a company.
We'll see what happens with my voice-mail.
    Thanks for listening.

I made it through the extremely clunky (extra feature: stupid too!) "help ticket" process. I got a phone number (800-213-4561, M-F 9-5 EST) which sometimes is actually answered by a human being (after the obligatory automated menu greeting, of course). Hopefully I will soon be able to report on the gloriously successful results obtained through my conversation with Topeak customer service.

I had no problems getting replacement parts from them for a road morph free of charge after it broke.

No problems from me, this was last year though.

I've gotten free replacement parts for my JoeBlow Pro pump multiples times quickly and without issue, just through their website + email. As recently as 6 weeks ago.

    Thumbs up

And here I am, back to report that phone contact with Todson/Topeak did indeed yield prompt and satisfactory results--so go ahead, kids, call that 800 number listed in earlier posts and all will be well. Apparently Topeak just moved into a new location, which may account for the customer service glitches described in this thread.

Brian, if I may recommend something; change the title to Topeak Customer Service Tel #

I had the same exact problem with contacting them, but the reacted quicly with sending the component part.

Listing the number and starting to do this with all manufacturers will help everyone.

I had the same problem when I tried contacting them through their website. After I found the number and called them, they sent me the part I needed.

I just registered on their site and it took about 15 mins to get the confirmation email. Problem is, when you register, they don't tell you that you need to confirm this info before you could use it. I was really frustrated by that. I posted that in my ticket when I finally got in. Once I made contact it has been smooth sailing and they have been more than helpful.

I have had very good experiences with Topeak. Everytime I have called them, they took care of my issue.

Most bicycle accessory companies are very small with maybe a hand full of employees. This might be why you were having customer services issues with Topeak.

    Thumbs down

Update. I have tried now since July 12th to get a mounting bracket for my Topeak Road Morph G frame pump. I have 2 bikes and thought I would just buy a second mounting bracket so I could just move the pump over to the other bike. No need to really buy a second pump.

I posted a ticket on their site, had an answer fairly quickly on how to get this bracket. I could order from them or go through my LBS. Great, everything is smooth. Tried 3 LBS's in my area of which no one could get their hands on this mysterious bracket. I have left no less than 20 voice mail at 1-800-213-4561 ext 3260 or ext.3261. As of Aug 6th, ext. 3260 is still telling you that the business will be closed for the 4th of July holiday , hello, it's August.

So I post another message in my ticket on Aug 6th clearly expressing my frustration that I am having so much trouble getting a $4.95 part. I called again today, went to voice mail. Did not leave another voice mail as that has been useless, I posted another message in my ticket and advised I was also posting here.

Unfricking believable. So for anyone from Todson\Topeak if you decided to look at this thread, my ticket number is as follows:

    Ticket ID: 8C500D
    Department: Topeak
    Created: 12 July 2008 07:50
    Status: Open

Wow, I've got nothing for Topeak or Todson. That makes me the captain of the failboat. Sorry.

I had a very bad costumer service experience with them many years ago and I simply stopped buying their products.

So I got a email today. Seems someone much have finally looked at my ticket and they advised they were sending my part. Color me shocked at this point, but I will believe it when it hits my mail box.
