Front brakeeeeee.
Otherwise usually I don't like colored chains, but that actually works.

yeah I dont have a long enough bolt to switch it to front as of yet..
and in trying to learn how to skid the rear break actually helps me since i cant figure out how to lock my legs yet.. attempting to lock my legs and they just keep moving with the pedals lol.. the rear break engaged helps me lock those pedals and skid pretty good
i know its cheating but it works!

not the greatest picture, taken with my cell phone. It was 86 degrees today in NYC and I was off from work (WIN) so I took my new Windsor down the West Side bike path.

oh so I need to tilt them up more? so the end caps are positioned vertical to the road?
Yes.
The end caps should be perpendicular to the road. The ends of the bars themselves should be parallel with the road (i.e. horizontal).
got it!
thanks guys!
I have ridden my Hour for seven years. The BB and headset lasted about a year. Cranks might have lasted longer, but I went to Miche when the BB bit the dust. By the end of my second year, only the frame and seat post remained from the stock bike. BD's claim that this a a $795 bike marked down to somewhere under $300 is baloney. Ask them where it's for sale at $795. Buy this bike for the frame with a plan to upgrade as needed or when your finances allow, whichever comes first.
I love my Windsor, what little is left of it.

Did you intend to respond to a four year old post?
my hour!
Done for a while.
Has anyone used a stem adapter to go threadless? I've an older Hour(2006) with the 1" threaded stem and I'd like to change my bar height slightly.

Apologies for reviving a month old thread.. given my measurements, which size would fit the best? 49cm matches my inseam, but it sounds too small for my height (5'7").
Fit Calculator results (from Competitive Cyclist) are attached. Bike geometry is here. Thanks in advance.
Inseam 29.75 in
Trunk 23.5 in
Forearm 12.5 in
Arm 23 in
Thigh 22.5 in
Lower Leg 21 in
Sternal Notch 54 in
Total Body Height 57 in
Looks like you should ride whatever size has closest to a 52cm top tube.
