guys at my shop are fast. didn't want to take the mountain bike on a roadie ride.
i tried riding the fixed gear in to work a few times, but it was too tiring to do that then work for 9 hours and ride home. i would end up spending the entire day's paycheck on food and caffeine in order to get through the day.
also, it was really really fun. most passing clearance i've ever gotten from cars.

Grocery runs on two of my bikes

Sorry, no pics but I did carry 4 cases of beer and three bags of ice on a Surly Big Dummy once. It belonged to a friend and he let me ride it up the gas station to get supplies for the evening. Everyone at the gas station was really stoked to see me load up that bike and ride away. Bike handled really well; could've carried a lot more weight with no trouble.
yea seriously! My fingers were starting to freeze up after only holding the camera for less than a minute

No pics but the home from mardi gras and the ride back from canal to uptown with my bagaboo bag filled to the gills with beads and throws weighing in at a stout 50lbs. for the record, wow nola roads are in rough shape.
This looked like something to post about here. You guys may have seen this already. If not then it may get your creative juices going.
I'm voting Gyeswho FTW!

I have the utmost confidence that the judges will look past the $ spent and find the winner. I see no reason for someone to be limited to choosing between either a crappy crankset or a decent set of tires. These bikes are meant for utility.
most expensive thing I've ever carried
I'm such a traitor, I know
carried a big bag of clothes and a pair of shoes to donate at a clothing dropoff container
