My wife bought her first road bike last year after a few years on a hybrid. This year I surprised her with a new wheelset. Added some light tires and dropped nearly 2 lbs from stock weight.

Very hot! But, isnt saddle a bit low (or rather, bar a bit high?).

The bike is for his Wife. Most women don't like to position themselves as low as men. Give her time to build a racing position if that is the way she chooses to go.

Yes i did and let me tell you IT SUCKED! The powder was acatone based and "brushed on" then baked at 325 for 5 min.I chose P/C because it is felxable and very hard to chip.it will get me by till i get the SL's..

Well my wife is 5'1", and I wasn't crazy about the fit that the lbs gave her when she bought the bike. I wasn't there unfortunately so I could only go by what was said over the phone. When I got home I thought the frame was a bit too large for her, but she seemed comfortable on it, and rode 2k miles her first year which I thought was pretty good. We did some tweaks but are going to get a pro fit done next month. Hopefully they will be able to dial it in better. I just hope he doesn't recommend a smaller frame!

If she´s happy thats way to do it! As stated; hot bike!
