To logos for the frame is quite conservative, really.

    Lung, beautiful bike!

can you give some more info on that frame? I tried to look on the Guru website but didn't see that model...so its a mix of carbon/ti?

    very interesting.

Sadly, they don't make it anymore. I always loved this frame and from 2004 to 2006 it was their flagship frame. it's all carbon lugged... anywhere there would typically be aluminum there is ti. Drop outs, a bit in the seatpost insert, the headset cups, water bottle screw grommets, and bottom bracket. Sad Guru moved away from this type of classic style frame making. I love it.. I searched all over for one and finally found one in my size, never ridden in a shop in Texas. Bought it on the spot. Finest frame I've ever ridden. Thanks!

Interesting. In comparison to most frames out there now... I think the logos are pretty understated. Oh well.

thanks fo the info, aren't most Guru's "custom" ? we have a Guru dealer here, but all of the bikes on display are TT variety.

very cool frame...lugged carbon looks awesome to me, and the graphics are understated compared to day's Looks, Specialized, etc.

how much does the frame/fork itself weigh?

This frame was actually a custom built 57cm frame. It was built for a customer that never picked it up. Happened to fit me perfectly! I got lucky. And yes, they are big in triathlon too. Not sure the exact weight of the frame... I've got it build to around 15.5-16 lbs. now. At one time I had it at 15 flat. But like it now better with the slightly heavier components.

Will add some higher quality pics in the next couple of days and the bike will have white brake hoods by the weeks end.

It's not that it's less understated than other frames, I think it's just the sharp contrast of black and white make them pop out so much for me. Just personal preference.

OK Some better pictures. They show off the fact my bike is CF not black. I think the CF looks hot.

Yeah, the Specialized logo is pretty much on everything else. It must be the angle. It's got the logo on there too

A swedish Monark. Built in 1975 by former Giro d`Italia winner Gösta "Fåglum" Pettersson. Slightly upgraded by me; Shimano 600/105 from -83/84 and a surprisingly new Ultegra rear derailleur. Newly built wheels. It runs very very nice!

As stiff as a horny teenager on viagra.

However, it's not as stiff as the Thomson which is as stiff as a horny teenager on viagra in a 5ex shop.
