    Yet another "Interbike photos thread"

I'll be posting my photo's here for the next few days. I've got hundreds of photos(and dial-up) so this might take a while, but I'll get them up as quickly as I can.

    Waterford

Food for thought: if you aren't dead by 2050, you and your entire family will be within a few years from starvation. Now that is a cruel gift to leave for your offspring. ;)

I will preface and say I love the old school stuff but I really don't like mixing a threadless headset and a lugged steel frame. It just looks wrong. I also don't like the idea of a Paramount remake. I have owned Paramounts in the past and loved those bikes but the remake is a reminder to me of what happened to Schwinn which is awful really and the frame you show isn't anywhere as elegant as earlier Paramounts with threaded quill stems. The lugs on those frames look like something Liberace would ride...overly ornate. Rad's Pinny captures the retro bike look for me.

I like the facial expression in the first one. It either says, "I'm in awe," or "Warn me to close my mouth before you take the next picture."

LMAO i was trying to think of a way to describe that first bike...you did it wonderfully! that's exactly what it looks like. i love lugged frames...but nothing to ornate/intricate/crazy...just, simple. more often than not, simple is the way to go.

    Pegoretti

By the way, Dario was feeling better.

I spent a lot of time there talking with Dario. He's as special as his bikes. His Cancer is in remission, and he's starting to catch up on his work.

I bet that Pegoretti is the only Campagnolo 8 speed bike at Interbike. Lovely. The older style Campagnolo crank looks awesome. I might have to get one

    Here's the cranks

and the brakes. I prefer Deltas, but Cobalts are more rare(and work better).

Anyone know what those 70th anniversary Waterford Paramounts cost? They are only making 70 of them and each one is custom made for buyer - what is the price of the frames?

The black Responsorium w/ the Campagnolo HU's is the nicest bike I have ever seen. Holy ****..........

I just priced it at CC. Wow, $12,000 . so nice though. I can always dream till next year.
